In this uncompromising warfare between Google and Search Engine Optimization experts, both of them are implementing their individual game plans to reach their objectives.
In order to give best, accurate, and genuine information to their users, Google updates its algorithm regularly on one hand. On the other hand, Search Engine Optimization companies are implementing their own strategies to rank better in the search engine results.
Sometimes, Google will penalize the sites which are bypassing the Google search engine policies to give accurate results to search engine users. Most of the websites are affected and penalized in this. Recently, in the month of April 2017 Google updated its algorithm called “Fred” which penalized the many websites. If you are in the affected list and planning to avoid the penalty from Google in the future, then you should follow below rules.
Do not link to the site with dreadful page rank:
Link building is a matter of what you will do is what you will get. If you are linking from a bad site, the same will effect on your site. Never… never get the links from the website with dreadful page rank which finally Google will penalize your site.
Fend off the poison words:
There are some poisonous words which will affect your website in search engine rankings. For example, work called “Link”. If you hypertext the work “Link” in the content of the web page, this may lead to getting penalized by Google. List out those poison keywords and avoid using them.
Avoid plagiarized content and images:
One of the important concerns that Google will consider is using duplicate content and copied images. Make sure that your website or blog shouldn’t have plagiarized content. There are few tools which enable us to check plagiarism content, use them. Strictly avoid copying content.
Fred off page redirects:
Imagine if you entered into a website and started reading an article or content on it. After 3 seconds, you will be redirected to another page which doesn’t belong to your searches. How disgusting it is! The same way your website visitors will be redirected to some other page, they might get frustrated as they didn’t get what they are looking for. The final result is the penalty from Google. Avoid page redirects.
